First, the leaders of the provincial research team visited the Guojian Medical Honor Exhibition Hall, gaining a comprehensive understanding of the company. Guojian Medical is a high-tech enterprise specializing in the R&D, manufacturing, and sales of rehabilitation medical equipment. It has been recognized as a Specialized, Sophisticated, and Novel SME in Henan Province, a Quality Benchmark Enterprise in Henan Province, and a Gazelle Enterprise. The company holds dozens of national invention patents and over 100 software copyrights. It also operates the Henan Provincial Engineering Technology Research Center for Digital Rehabilitation Equipment and a provincial-level Enterprise Technology Center.
Subsequently, the provincial research team visited the company’s product exhibition hall, where Geng Shuqiang, General Manager of Guojian Medical, provided a detailed overview of the company’s AI-powered acupuncture system and AI-enabled rehabilitation robots. The members of the provincial research team engaged in in-depth discussions and exchanges with General Manager Geng Shuqiang and senior representatives from the company’s R&D department, gaining a thorough understanding of the company’s development plans and objectives, as well as its most pressing current needs.
Although the company has achieved remarkable success in the R&D and manufacturing of rehabilitation and physiotherapy products, there are still critical bottlenecks that must be overcome in the development of AI-powered rehabilitation to enable further advancement. The head of the research team stated that they will assign top industry technical experts to provide technical support to Guojian Medical, along with financial backing under pro-people policies, to help the company break through existing technological barriers and accelerate the unleashing of new, intelligent productivity in the field of rehabilitation.
